VG-LIBRARY-1.0

VectorGurus Vector Library License 1.0

Effective October 31, 2026

1. Scope

This license applies only to a VectorGurus asset whose detail page expressly names VG-LIBRARY-1.0 as its license. Other assets may have different terms; always follow the license shown on the individual asset page.

2. Definitions

A Licensed Asset is the specific vector file covered by this license. An End Product is a larger design, product, publication, or experience in which the Licensed Asset has been incorporated so that the product is not merely a way to obtain the source asset.

3. License grant

Subject to these terms, VectorGurus grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to:

  • Use the licensed asset in personal and commercial projects.
  • Copy, modify, recolor, resize, and combine the licensed asset with other material.
  • Use the licensed asset in physical products, digital end products, advertising, packaging, websites, apps, and client work.
  • Distribute and sell an end product in which the licensed asset has been incorporated.
  • Use the licensed asset without crediting VectorGurus.

Attribution is appreciated but is not required.

4. Restrictions

  • Do not sell, redistribute, sublicense, share, or make the source SVG or a substantially similar standalone asset available on its own.
  • Do not include the source asset in a stock library, template library, asset pack, download service, or other product that competes with an asset library.
  • Do not claim exclusive rights in, register as a trademark, or prevent others from using the unmodified licensed asset.
  • Do not use the licensed asset to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise develop an artificial-intelligence model, system, network, or similar technology.
  • Do not intentionally remove or falsify embedded provenance, provider markings, content credentials, or disclosures that applicable law requires you to preserve.
  • Do not use the licensed asset for unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or rights-infringing purposes.

5. Ownership and non-exclusivity

VectorGurus and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted here. You own your original contributions to an End Product, but this license does not transfer ownership of the Licensed Asset and does not give you exclusive rights in it. The same Licensed Asset may be licensed to others.

6. Client work and production partners

You may provide the Licensed Asset to a client, printer, manufacturer, developer, or other contractor only as needed to create your permitted End Product. They may use the file only for that work and may not retain, reuse, redistribute, or sublicense it for another purpose. Your client must obtain its own license to reuse the source asset outside the delivered End Product.

7. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you materially breach its terms. Upon termination, you must stop new use and distribution of the Licensed Asset and delete source copies under your control, except where applicable law requires retention. Rights in compliant End Products distributed before termination are not expanded by this clause.

8. No warranty

THE LICENSED ASSET IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFIRMING THAT YOUR PARTICULAR USE COMPLIES WITH LAW AND THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM RULES.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VECTORGURUS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE LICENSED ASSET OR THIS LICENSE. VECTORGURUS' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A LICENSED ASSET WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID VECTORGURUS FOR THAT ASSET, IF ANY. RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED REMAIN UNAFFECTED.

10. General terms

This license supplements the VectorGurus Terms of Service. If the two conflict for a Licensed Asset, this license controls only for use of that asset. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
