Why VectorGurus
We are not opening another volume contest. The goal is a smaller, clearer catalog where artists understand the buyer and buyers trust the files.
Get focused collection briefs built around the files print shops, sign makers, engravers, and designers actually need.
Accepted work is reviewed for editability and production usefulness, so quality—not upload volume—becomes the differentiator.
Founding contributors help shape the submission workflow and receive the first briefs when collections open.
The first collections
We are prioritizing categories where clean construction matters. Strong concepts are only the start—the file must survive editing, printing, cutting, and scaling.
Your portfolio can specialize in one category. We would rather see depth than a little of everything.
How it works
A short application lets both sides see whether there is a fit before accounts, uploads, or compliance documents enter the process.
Send one public portfolio link with 5–10 representative vector pieces.
We look at originality, paths, layers, editability, and practical use—not follower count.
Accepted artists see the contributor, publishing, and earning terms before committing.
Create against a focused brief, pass quality review, and prepare approved files for launch.
The quality bar
AI-assisted work can be reviewed when you disclose the workflow, control the necessary rights, and intentionally edit the result. Raw bulk generations, protected brands, copied styles, and unverified outputs are not a fit.
Apply to the founding group
Start with a public link. We are evaluating craft and fit—not asking you to hand over a catalog before you know the terms.
No government ID, tax number, bank details, or saleable source files are required for this first review.
Share one public link with 5–10 strong vector examples. We want to see original ideas, clean paths, sensible layers, editable shapes, and work suited to real production. You do not need to upload a large catalog to apply.
No. The first step is an account-free portfolio application. We only discuss contributor access, file delivery, tax, and payout setup after a portfolio has been accepted and the contributor terms are ready for review.
Yes, but disclose it accurately. AI assistance does not automatically disqualify a portfolio. You must control the necessary rights, avoid protected brands and likenesses, and deliver intentionally edited vector artwork rather than unreviewed bulk output.
Nothing is licensed or published through this application. If your portfolio is accepted, you will receive the contributor agreement and publishing and earning terms to review before you submit saleable files.
No. This is an application to an independent contributor program for a curated vector library, not an employment application or a promise of work, acceptance, or earnings.
